You may be wondering
- How do I book a session?
- What is required to book a session?
- How does the process work?
Well, that is what this resource page is for. In this page, I will discuss all the steps that lead up to your session with me.
Contacting Me
The first step to the entire process is to contact me. Some things that you should include (if you know) are…
- Name
- Email and Phone
- Date of Photoshoot
- Location of Photoshoot
- Any extra details…
Once you have contacted me, I will discuss my rates and options for you. If we decide that I’m not the photographer for the job, I will help you locate a photographer that will fit your needs! I want what is best for you, and I’m not afraid to know my limits.
Once we decide on the rate and other details, we move on to the “booked” process.
The 3 Steps to a Booking
When you book a session with me, you will receive an email from me within 1 business day. This email will take you to your personal “Project” page. On this page you will see the necessary things that you need to do including the Contract (more like my terms and conditions), your invoice, and a questionnaire.
Below is a photo of what your project page may look like…

Step 1 – The Contract
This is quite possibly the MOST IMPORTANT part of the whole process. The “Contract” is more like my “Terms and Conditions”. It outlines the liabilities that I cover and that you cover. An example, I am not liable for any weather problems on the day of the session. Another example, the client (you) are liable for any private property access verification required.
YOUR SESSION IS NOT OFFICIALLY BOOKED UNTIL THE CONTRACT IS SIGNED.
I ask that all my clients sign the contact at least 1 WEEK PRIOR to the session.
I required all my clients to sign the contract. By signing the contract, you are confirming all the details for your session and it helps protect me and my company too.
Step 2 – The Invoice
Your “Project” page will contain your invoice for the session. This will include the photoshoot rate (as agreed upon) and any extra fees (travel fees, accommodation fees, overtime fees, etc.) Your invoice is generally due no later than 2 days AFTER the session.
Note: Your photos will NOT be delivered until full payment is received.
You are welcome to pay either online (through the Invoice), in person with cash, or by Venmo @Jeron-Osguthorpe.
If you have any questions about your invoice, feel free to reach out at any time.
Step 3 – The Questionnaire (optional)
This step is completely optional. On every one of my projects, I include a “questionnaire”. The questionnaire just contains questions that will help me to get to know you, and your expectations better. Most of the questions are personal questions that help me understand who you are, so that I can curate your session specifically to you.
The questionnaire is completely optional and don’t ever feel pressured to answer all the questions.
